Insect Screens
Insect screens are recommended to doors and windows to protect against insects both in fixed and mobile (roller) finish.

Fixed insect screens are practical to be installed on windows and surfaces where there is no regular movement. The insect screen is installed with screws, and after installation it will not be movable. There are two kinds of fixed insect screens, one with plastic, and the other with aluminium frame. That with plastic frame can be ordered in basic colours (white and brown). The one with aluminium frame can be manufactured in either colour of the RAL colour chart. The net itself is made from a fire-resistant glass-fibre material in light grey colour.

The movable insect screen’s function is the same as that of the fixed with the difference that these types of insect screens can be moved and quite fully made invisible. It is an easy-to-handle insect screen with small need of place. The net winds up into an aluminium box (it can be ordered in all RAL colours), i.e. it is invisible in wound-up position.

The movable insect screen has two versions: one to be moved vertically and the other horizontally. In the case of windows the vertically movable version, while with doors the horizontally movable version is recommended. In the latter one both one- and two-wing solutions are available.
As its name includes, the opening door-type insect screen operates as a door, it is fitted with a hinge with spring for the sake of perfect safety. Apart from these also a so called panel insect screen is available, operating as a vertical Louvre blind. Sash frame insect screens are used to cover large surfaces, such as balcony doors.
