At the time of the establishment of our company, in 1896, our main product line was the manufacture of Esslingen-type roller shutters with wooden curtain. This classic-style sun-shade has preserved its popularity even since.

Its manufacture was began in Esslingen in the 1800s thus it has been available for the customers for almost 200 years. It is really hand-made. Through its natural beauty wooden shutters may be a real gem of your home. Due to the thickness of laths it can be realised with internal shutter box only.

The laths are made from Borovi pine-wood, then they are treated with various coats, e.g. fungicide undercoat, various transparent coatings, wood stains, and paints in order to withstand the rigours of weather. It is practical for several reasons, among others because of the basically high-level thermal insulation effect of wood.

Wooden shutters are unique, thanks to the 25-75% ratio of lath and gap they have an airy shading effect; our customers can order it in any colour. It may be operated mechanically or electrically. The mechanic winding up operates with pull-cord. The electric version is driven by Kondoroll shutter motors controlled through a wall switch or a remote controller.
